This is a serene evening shot. Enjoy your trip - I look forward to seeing some photos when you are back.
Aksel from Norway: Thanks
Beautiful composition here! I just love it.
Enjoy Provence!!
Aksel from Norway: Thanks - and I'm enjoying
Totally awesome at 161 seconds, Aksel. I know there's a special filter/lens for that but I forget what it is! Something I don't have (yet). Mine will do 30s max! But I really like this!
Aksel from Norway: Thanks - I put my camera on bulb, the step after 30 sec - and voila...
That's a long time Aksel
Aksel from Norway: I know
When I was last in the Lake District I saw an exhibition of long exposure night photography in the mountains. The villages glowed like bonfires.
Aksel from Norway: I know....it's great fun...
Lucky you - enjoy your holiday - it's one of my favourite places. I like this shot - the water looks like glass.
Ingrid

Terrific and fascinating and beautiful.
Aksel from Norway: Thanks and thanks again Karima - much appriciated
What a beautiful night it was. How late was this taken?
Aksel from Norway: Thanks, I don't remember but I guss around one o'clock at night....
My favourite detail: the incomplete straight line of ligth (that seems to have been done with a ruler)
My greatest wish if I was there : to make a big splash with a rock and break the liquid quietness of the surface (after taking the picture, of course Have a nice time in France!
Aksel from Norway: Thanks I will/have.
The line is actually a boat - travelling the distance of 161 seconds |
