Quite an intriguing shot Aksel. What is this?
Aksel from Norway: To be honest I don't know....I was out walking a winter day and this was something I saw on a water that was frozen...

I've not idea what the black thing is but the image certainly conveys a good sense of a grey day. I like the simplicity of this.
Ingrid
Aksel from Norway: Thanks Ingrid - I'm not sure what it is either...
I'd guess a fountain nozzle that's not working, but whatever it is, it's intriguing.
Aksel from Norway: Thanks, it's not a fountain nozzle, but I'm not sure what it is....this was found out on a frozen lake on a not so cold winter day...

Superb!
Aksel from Norway: Thanks, much appriciated smile
Is it a bowl standing on a wet miror?
Aksel from Norway: Sorry, not sure what it is....the thing is standing on a frozen lake on a kind of warm winter day - so your observation is very good....not that I'm surprised wink

My guess - it is a indoors gholf mound/hole, turned upside down on plastic or glass on a grass surface in the rain.

Ingrid is right - it does convey greyness. Is the ISO a bit high for the Nikon?
Aksel from Norway: ISO - yes, to high for the D50 - even though I find it's ok here...with my neew D300 ISO 800 no problemas wink

I'm not sure what this is, I found it out on a frozen lake on a kind of warm winter day.....

Only you to spot a U.F.O (unidentifyed frozen object)...
Aksel from Norway: That is a great alternative title grin
