I like your use of focusing here Aksel - such a simple image, yet it speaks of winter just as much as a snowy landscape.
Aksel from Norway: Thanks Ingrid, and my fingers were really cold after taking this wink

The way you've used such a shallow depth of field is astonishing. On the face of it this is such a "simple" and "everyday" picture, but it takes skill to get it so right.
Aksel from Norway: Thanks Ellie - appriciate the kind comment
Very nice with these vertical lines!
Aksel from Norway: Thanks - I like them wink

At first I thought this was some sort of corrosion on metal and then I realized it was SNOW on wood! Excellent!!
Aksel from Norway: Thanks again Martie - I can "see" your first thought.... wink
It looks cold!
Nice use of DOF and the red brings out the crisp shape of the snow/ice crystals.
Aksel from Norway: It was freezing cold - I felt like loosing my fingers wink
It seems that somebody breathed frost to the fence...
Great focusing Aksel, I like it.
Aksel from Norway: Thanks, I like your way of seeing this smile
