  • My personal favourite 18.December got 3 comments

grin this thumbnail had me wondering what I might find when I opened it, a rather amusing picture with the little person scurrying out of the shot!

Your breakdown of visits/comments is interesting. I think you'll find that many people have set their blogs on autopilot over the Christmas period, so aren't visiting very often, and also that weekends are generally fairly quiet. Keep looking around and see what other people upload and also what sort of comments they get, two or three is quite a normal amount for most people, who don't have a lot of time to visit other people's blogs.

Have fun, and best wishes for a safe and happy New Year smile
Aksel from Norway: Thank you. I'm more than happy with people visiting me. I think that it reflects in what degree I visit other bloggers, and give them comments. This was just a wrap up of my first month as a shutterchancer - and being a numbers kind of guy - this was my appoach. Have fun you too, and happy new year :o)

Aksel from Norway: Helt enig.
I was the same as Ellie, looking at the thumbnail and also had a good laugh when I opened the full photo. I do like this a lot Aksel, you have done very well and also got the exposure spot on, no blown highlights. Well done mate. I also like to analyse the numbers now and again and personally tend to feel that a visit without comment, is a visit from someone who just plain does not like the photo, or is too damn lazy to comment. The other problem of course, is that very many shutterchancers are unable to speak or write English, which does not make it easy for them. I am still trying to work out how to use the MSN translator!! Anyway, if the figures are important, I feel it also adds as an incentive to improve and that's what it's all about. Carry on enjoying your hobby mate and all the very best of luck for 2007. Many regards, Neil.
Aksel from Norway: Thanks, I'll se you on your site in the year to come :o)

Aksel from Norway: Perfect isn't that bad Nigel grin

Thanks - looking forward to the floral equivalent
I love this shot - wonderful witty framing, and excellent exposure. Great to see it brought back over two years later for your exhibition at the library smile
Aksel from Norway: Thanks - I almost lost it when my hard disc collapsed - but I saved it....and I'm very pleased as you might have guessed wink
