I didn't realize the sky would be so light at nearly midnight there! I love this photo - so still and quiet. I'm sure it looks much different when it's time to go to and from work, but right now -- it's really nice!
Aksel from Norway: Thanks martie. I used a 20 second shutterspeed so I guess for the eye it was a little bit darker
You are much farther north than Amsterdam, Aksel, but even here we have a bit of light when we go to bed at 10p. Too bad we have to pull the heavy drapes and close off the open windows! Hmmm. Maybe we need to start wearing eye masks!
Aksel from Norway: Well I guess a 20 sec shutterspeed isn't giving the "whole" pic
That's a very agreeably Nordic summer night shot Aksel
Aksel from Norway: Thanks Chris
Do you manage to get much sleep in the summer? I like this shot - it looks rather eerie. That yellow building contrasts so well with the sky.
Ingrid
Aksel from Norway: Thanks Ingrid - I sleep in the summer, no problem
Clear and neat night shot Aksel. I like the perspective along the starlights!
Aksel from Norway: Thanks Richard
Back in the land of anonymous places. Amazingly light though.
Aksel from Norway: I know....I keep coming back to those places....
great night shot Askel or is it daylight? maybe a more central perspective would have been better with the building on the right placed on the left with the lights switched off
Aksel from Norway: It's a 20 sec shutterspeed so.... ;D
I think it's you
tim is pulling your leg, ha!
Great picture that brings back memories. There is something eeries about midnight with this much light. It is refelected well in the colours here.
Aksel from Norway: Well....I deserve it I think
Thanks Louis
Amazing result with low shutterspeed ! The night is a day !
Aksel from Norway: I know - it's fun taking pics at night/evening
Looks like a good time to ride my bike. I feel safe in your pic
Aksel from Norway: Thanks - I think you would be safe here...
