Ha. See how funky this tree became in b&w with a hat of grass! An absolute surreal image. Top natch, Aksel.
Aksel from Norway: Thanks, it was you that first gave me the idea - so thanks, it turned out quite good imho
You had me fooled. I thought the 'hat of grass' is the leafy part of a tree standing in front of a hedge. Then I read your title
Excellent.
Aksel from Norway: Thanks
It's downright confusing, Aksel, in a wonderful sort of way.
Aksel from Norway: Thanks Ginnie - it's amazing what turning a pic up side down can do
What a wonderful sombre reflective ripply tree Aksel: wonderful shot!
Aksel from Norway: Thanks - I'm quite pleased with this one
Very clever shot Aksel - only when you look at it for a while does it become clear. This works very well in b/w.
Ingrid
Aksel from Norway: Thanks - I had some good helpers that suggested this would look great in BW so...
You got me confused here! Excellent upside down reflection shot.
Aksel from Norway: Thanks Richard - I like upside down
Lovely capture. I especially like the grasses in the forefront.
Aksel from Norway: Thanks sherri
Spooky, but terrific.
Aksel from Norway: Thanks
Gets a very thoughtful(reflective)nod from me. richard
Aksel from Norway: Thanks for the nod
has to be one of the best reflection shots on SC and a straight likey for me m8
Aksel from Norway: Thanks a lot tim - that is an huge honour
Amazing image Aksel. Brilliant. :o) John
Aksel from Norway: Thanks John - appriciate it
Perfect a(r)tmosphere !
Aksel from Norway: Thank you for that (r) - much appriciated
As I compare the two versions I finally made my choice...This is my favourite, because the illusion is even stronger on this one. We really believe that the grass is the top of the tree. And I'll say it once again: a top one!
Aksel from Norway: Thank you, I find it hard to pick a favourite but I know in a month or so my brain will make a decision
